Elizabeth Ann Matteson Cinnamon, 57, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010, after suffering ill health for many years.
Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 22 at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born in Dumas on November 8, 1953. After birth she lived in Quanah until she was 12. Her family then moved to Azle where she became a longtime resident. Elizabeth was a graduate of Azle High School and soon after married David Cinnamon. Together they had two wonderful children, Cindy and Bill. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren and most of all to laugh.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Minnie Myrtle Brown; father, Dan Truett Thornton; and brother, Stevie Bob Matteson.
Survivors include, husband, David Cinnamon; daughter, Cindy Sutton and husband, Chip of Sugar Land and their two children, Austin and Mikayla; son, Bill Cinnamon of Burleson and friend, LaShona; mother, Dorothy Thornton-Moore and husband, Bill of Azle; sisters, Prissy Thomason and husband, Mike of Springtown and Anna Schlaepfer and husband, Dave of Boyd; nephew, Randy Harris and wife, Krystal of Azle; and many extended family members.
