Bearcats shutout Brewer, finish regular season 10-0

Aledo BearcatsThe Bearcats shutout the Brewer Bears 48-0 and end the regular season with an undefeated 10-0 record.

Bearcats will face Fort Worth ISD in first round of playoffs

In the bi-district round of the class 4A playoffs, district 5-4A plays the four top teams from district 6-4A which includes most of the Fort Worth schools. Aledo will play the Fort Worth-O.D. Wyatt Chaparrals, the team with the second best record in the Division II playoffs from district 6-4A.

Wyatt earned the last playoff spot on Thursday night by defeating Fort Worth-Eastern Hills 30-20. Wyatt ended the regular season with a record of 6-4.

The bi-district game will be played at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at Herman Clark Stadium in Fort Worth, located at Interstate-20 near Wichita Street.
