Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony on May 28th 2011

Fallen Heroes Memorial: Austin’s mother Kaye Jordan and Austin’s son Kallen O’Neal were on the house floor to receive the resolution and flag.

On May 28, 2011 the Texas Legislature honored all Texans who gave their lives in the Global War on Terror since the end of last session. Rep King and Senator Estes honored Pfc. Austin Staggs from Weatherford.

Vance, Robinson graduate from Basic Training

Sabrina VanceRobert RobinsonAir Force Airmen Sabrina N. Vance and Robert C. Robinson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Vance is the daughter of John D. and Peggy M. Vance of Weatherford.
