Missing teenager found

May 1, 2014 by Randy Keck

Parker County investigators have confirmed that a missing teen will soon be reunited with her family.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 2:14 p.m. today in reference to runaway Abigail Rubio, who was reported missing one week ago.

Officials said Rubio approached a constable in Hill County, located southeast of Parker County.

Rubio is reported to be in good condition and appears well. Her family was notified and is on the way to pick her up.

Parker County investigators requested that Rubio be questioned by Hill County investigators regarding her disappearance. Investigators said foul play is not suspected at this time and believe Rubio left her home and school willingly. No further information will be released due to the young girl being a juvenile.

“We are pleased to discover she has been located and will be with her family soon,” said Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler.
