Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford presents its September production, “Unnecessary Farce,” written by Paul Slade Smith, and produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. This classic farce is directed by Pat Dohoney, with Wally Jones as assistant director and Hank Minor as stage manager. The show begins Friday, Sept. 5 and runs weekends through Sept. 21.
"Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go. In an economy motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant. In the room next door, two undercover cops are supposed to catch the meeting on videotape. But there's some confusion as to who's occupying which room, who's watching the video, who's taken the money, who's hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.”
Members of the cast are Jordan Nissen as Eric Sheridan; Kayleigh Parker as Billie Dwyer; Courtney Bobo as Karen Brown; Evan Faris as Mayor Meekly; Nikolai Braswell as Agent Frank; Christian Sanders as Todd; and Karen Dohoney as Mary Meekly.
