Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Parker County will offer parenting classes March 19 and 20 at the Parker County Agricultural Services Center. The classes will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and will include lunch. The cost to attend the class is $10 per person for the two-day class. Scholarships are available.
The parenting classes will use the curriculum “Screamfree Parenting: The Revolutionary Approach to Raising Your Kids by Keeping Your Cool,” a series by Dr. Hal Edward Runkel.
Lessons will focus on how to become the parent your kids need and about keeping your cool. Also covered in the classes will be a presentation on Feeding Your Children, Food Safety and Shopping Strategies for Healthy Eating.
