Police officer banquet

The Weatherford College Criminal Justice Club will host the annual Parker County Officer of the Year and Awards banquet Friday, March 29, at the Parker County Posse Grounds Clubhouse. The club is engaged in active fundraising to support the banquet and to fund a criminal justice educational field trip.

The banquet will include a silent auction. Auction items are being sought and will be accepted up until the day before the event.

Tickets are available from club members for $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Vance Godbey’s will cater the event and will offer a variety of entrees and sides. For more information, contact Tim Poston, Criminal Justice coordinator, at 817-598-6450.
