Summary of Incidents for July 17, 2012

"On 07.16.2012 at approximately 1630hrs reporting officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to 900 N Main in reference to an automobile accident. One party of the accident identified as Colton Davis of Weatherford was determined to have capias pro fine warrants out of Weatherford Municipal Court, Davis was taken into custody.

On 7-17-12 at approximately 1024 hours I, Officer J. Young #80, was dispatched to the police department in reference to a credit card abuse case. Upon my arrival I contacted the complainant John Dixon by phone. Dixon told me that his business (located in the 1500 block of Ft Worth Hwy) debit card had been stolen. Dixon said that approximately $1000 dollar had been taken out of the account for nonbusiness related purchases. A Credit / Debit Card Abuse case was written.

On Tuesday, 07-17-2012 at 1225hrs I (Sgt. J. Hayes #56) was dispatched to a vehicle westbound on Fort Worth Hwy which had possibly just been involved in a drug transaction. The Silver Ford Explorer was located and a traffic stop was made due to a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a Kerri Michelle Scroggins (w/f 28yoa) and through further investigation it was determined that she had outstanding Parker County warrants and was driving on a suspended license. Scroggins was arrested for DWLI with a previous conviction and for the outstanding warrants.

On 7-17-12 at approximately 1440 hours I, Officer D.L. Morton # 72, received a Theft call at 801 Santa Fe Dr. in reference to check fraud. At approximately 1441 hours I met with the complainant Joseph Garner in the front lobby of 801 Santa Fe. Dr. Garner advised that between 7-10-12 and 7-17-12 some unknown person or persons without his consent made checks on his business bank account using his account's routing and account number and cashed seven checks for a total of $2,344.46. A report was made.

On 7-17-12 at approximately 1455 hours Officer Warren observed a red 1995 GMC Sierra traveling northbound in the 1000 block of Jacksboro-Graham Rd and the driver was not wearing a seat belt. Officer Warren conducted a traffic stop on the subject who identified herself as Edith Padron. Padron was checked through NCIC / TCIC and I was found that she had 2 local warrants out for her arrest. I arrived on scene to assist Officer Warren and took Padron into custody for the warrants. An arrest report was made.

At approximately 18:41 hours on 07/17/2012, Reporting Officer J.Shelley - 63 was dispatched to the 200 block of South Main to meet with complainant Amy Chumbley, a white female, 30 years of age, regarding burglary of her vehicle. Complainant advised that sometime between the hours of 22:30 on 07/16/2012 and 15:00 on 07/17/2012, unknown person(s) entered her vehicle while parked at her residence in the 2200 block of Brandy Dr. and took several items without her consent. Complainant advised that she believes the car was left unlocked and reported that a portable DVD player with dual screens was taken as well as a Nintendo DS gaming device and approximately 5 games and a black bag containing the Nintendo and games was taken. Complainant estimated the total value of all items to be approximately $465. A report for burglary of vehicle was completed.

On July 17, 2012 at approximately 2017 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of E I-20 in reference to a theft with two in custody. Upon arrival I spoke with Jeremy Cohn, who advised me that he observed two females steal items from the store and exit without making any attempt to purchase the items. The items were recovered. Rebecca Morris, wf 17 yoa was issued a citation for Theft < 50 and released. A 16 yoa wf was also issued a citation for Theft < 50 and released to a guardian. A report for Theft < 50 was taken.

On 07/17/12 at approximately 2121 hours while working patrol I, Ofc. K. Westendorf was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Line Street in reference to domestic disturbance and an assault in progress. Upon arrival I met with the complainant/victim, Sandra Justice a white female, 57 years of age. During my investigation I observed Markia Justice a white female, 17 years of age throw a water bottle at Sandra striking her in the head and causing her pain. Markia Justice was instantered on a Class C Assault, transported and booked into Parker County Jail. A Class C Assault report was completed.

At approximately 00:11 hours on 07/18/2012, Reporting Officer J.Shelley - 63 was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Akard St. regarding a domestic dispute and assault in progress. Upon arrival, R/O met with victim Jennifer Lynn Perkison, 44 y/o, w/f, who advised that she and her boyfriend, Dan Edward Oliver, 50 y/o, w/m, had been arguing and that he had bitten her causing a laceration to her finger. Oliver was placed under arrest for assault causing bodily injury to a family member, transported to Parker County Jail and booked in per department procedure. A report for assault was taken."
