June 26, 2012 by Randy Keck

From the Parker County Sheriff's Dept.

Parker County Sheriff’s investigators are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred at the Aledo Sonic Monday evening.

Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the incident was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in the 300 block of FM 1187.

A 20-year-old female told deputies a male was crouching behind another employee’s vehicle after hours. She initially thought the man was another employee, and said hello. The suspect turned around and quickly approached the victim, while pointing a handgun at her. The suspect demanded her money.

The victim complied and the suspect ran behind a fence, out of view, taking the victim’s tip money.

The suspect was described as 6’2”, wearing a tan ski mask, dark clothing and having a deep voice. His race was unknown by the victim.

Anyone with information about the suspect or his location is encouraged to call the Parker County Sheriff’s office at (817) 594-8845 or the Parker County Crime Stopper’s Hotline at (817) 599-5555.
