Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010
8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Parker County Clean Up Do’s & Don’ts:
Clean Up day is for private citizens, not commercial disposal
Make and post signs alerting neighborhood and enabling church, school groups and organizations to form “clean teams”
Clean and mow around personal and public property and roadways
Help elderly and disabled persons clean up their place
Wear bright colored clothing, protective gloves, eye wear and shoes
Collection bags for cleaning roads aailable at precinct barns
As a courtesy to precinct workers, bag securely and separate items to speed unloading and reduce labor
Please do not expect them to unload loose garbage

Items accepted include:
Aluminum, iron, glass, etc.
Newspaper, cardboard
Dried paint cans
Lumber, limbs, and brush
Tires (rims removed)

No chemicals, shingles, wet paint or flammables will be accepted
Accepted at Precinct Barns everyday: batteries, oil and oil filters (call first)

Any Parker County citizen (including City of Weatherford residents) may go to their nearest precinct barn:
