Game Recap:

Aledo gets the ball first and Johnathan Gray scores from 60 yards on the opening play. Point is good and Aledo leads 7-0 with 15 seconds gone in the 1st quarter.

Birdville is forced to punt after a drive stalls and Aledo works from their 37 yard line. A nice drive with big plays from Michael Mann, Ben Jopling and a touchdown run from 3 yards out by Johnathan Gray and it's 14-0 Aledo with 4:19 left in the 1st.

Birdville fumbles at their 29 yard line and Jordan Mittie recovers it to get the Bearcats the ball back. Matt Bishop makes a first down then 3 carries by Johnathan, the last one for 7 yards and the touchdown. PAT is good and the Bearcats lead 21-0 with 2:05 left in the 1st quarter.

That touchdown ties Johnathan Gray with T.A. McClendon for second all time nationally in scoring.

On the next Birdville drive they move the ball all the way down the field, with only 1:01 off the clock, and score.
