Former Aledo Ladycats state-championship winning pitcher Whitney Canion is surrounded by the 2015 Baylor Lady Bears today prior to Baylor's home softball game against Oklahoma State. Canion, who was a two-time All-American at Baylor, had her No. 11 jersey retired in a pre-game ceremony. It is the first jersey ever retired by the Baylor softball program, and Canion is the first former Aledo athlete to have a number retired at a major university.
