Food hub planned

Rotary Club of Weatherford will sponsor the Weatherford Food Hub at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at Weatherford Public Library, 1014 Charles Street. Produce bags are $5 each (cash only) and contain 15 or more pieces of fresh fruits and vegetables. There is no limit or prequalification to participate, everyone welcome. The mission of this project is to make fresh produce affordable and accessible to all. The Weatherford Food Hub is available the second Saturday of every month at the Weatherford Public Library.

Annual pancake supper

The Weatherford Rotary Club will host its 58th annual pancake supper Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Weatherford High School. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door.
This is the club’s largest youth scholarship fundraiser event of the year. There will be well over 100 silent auction items to choose from. Come and visit with friends and fill up on the syrup covered buttered pancakes, sausage, bacon, juice, milk or coffee and help support the cause.
Tickets also may be purchased from any Weatherford Rotary Club member or at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce office. Rotary Pancake Supper

The Weatherford Rotary Club will host its annual pancake supper, dubbed Pancake Palooza, from 5-7:30 Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Weatherford High School. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door, and may be purchased from any Weatherford Rotary Club member or at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce office. Weatherford Rotary Club Pancake Supper

The Weatherford Rotary Club will flip more than 5,000 pancakes and cooking more than 500 pounds of bacon at the annual all-you-can-eat pancake supper from 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Weatherford High School. Last year more than 1,500 people attended the annual fundraiser that provides scholarships for Weatherford High School and Weatherford College Students, as well as benefiting various Parker County Charities such as Center of Hope, Red Cross, United Way, Manna, and others. Advance tickets are available for $5 from any Rotarian or the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce office, and $7 tickets will be available at the door. Along with the great meal, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on hundreds of silent auction items.
