Theatre off the Square in Weatherford presents Ax of Murder Oct. 28 to Nov. 13. The play, written by Pat Cook, is about a haunted play that carries the ghost of a dead man with it. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets for Friday/Saturday shows are $12 or $10 for senior citizens and students. Sunday matinee tickets are $9. The last performances of “The Kitchen Witches” at Theatre Off the Square will be Oct. 7-8 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. in Weatherford. The play is about two 'mature' cable access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years. When put together on a TV show, the insults are flung harder than the food!
