Auditions set for “Pump Boys and Dinettes"

Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford is holding auditions for “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” written by Foley, Hardwick, Monk, Morgan, Schimmel and Wann and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. It is directed by Cynthia Daniels with assistant director  Hank Minor.
The 'Pump Boys' sell high octane on Highway 57 in Grand Ole Opry country and the 'Dinettes,' Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, run the Double Cupp diner next door. Together they fashion an evening of country western songs that received unanimous raves on and off-Broadway. "Both musically and theatrically, a triumph of ensemble playing. It doesn't merely celebrate the value of friendship and life's simple pleasures, it embodies them.” – The New York Times

Barefoot in the Park is written by Neil Simon and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. This comedy is directed by Hank Minor, with Marilyn Sanderson and Scott Campbell as assistant directors and Julie Campbell as stage manager. The show begins Friday, March 13 and runs weekends through March 29.
Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He's a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer, and she's a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. After a six-day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie's loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does.

Theatre off the Square in Weatherford has extended auditions for “The Fox on the Fairway” by Ken Ludwig, a fun comedy about golf.
Three men are needed, one in his 20s and two in their 40s.
Auditions will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 and Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Tuna Christmas presented by TOTS

Theatre off the Square in Weatherford presents the last production of the 2014 season, A Tuna Christmas, written by Ed Howard, Joe Sears, and Jaston Williams and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. This festive comedy is directed by Jaclyn Justice, with Kathy Manning as assistant director, Amanda Fitzgerald as director’s intern, and Dollene Price as stage manager. The show begins Friday, Dec. 5 and runs weekends through Dec. 21.
In this hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, it’s Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Many colorful Tuna residents, some you will recognize from Greater Tuna and Red, White, and Tuna, and some appearing for the first time, join in the holiday fun. This is one show that will have you howling with laughter.
