The Class AAAA Division II State Champion Football Team will be recognized at half-time of the Jan. 13 Aledo varsity boys vs. Azle basketball game. All varsity players and coaches will be in attendance for the game and will be recognized at mid-court. Parents are invited to attend the game to support the basketball teams and be there for the half time recognition. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Aledo High School gym. Admission for adults is $4 and for students is $2.
The 2011 Aledo varsity football banquet, honoring the 2011 Class AAAA Division II State Football Champions, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Stockyards Station Stampede Room, 130 East Exchange Ave in Fort Worth. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased at the Aledo High School front office.
