Gluten Intolerance Group Meeting

The Gluten Intolerance Group of North Texas will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 at The Hills Church, 6300 NE Loop 820 in North Richland Hills. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dozen homemade gluten free muffins or cupcakes for a “Muffin Breakfast.” The group will supply butter, syrup, jam and bacon.  For more information, visit www.northtexasgig.com.

North Texas Gluten Intolerance Group will be meeting Saturday, March 5 at The Hills (formerly known as Richland Hills Church of Christ), 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. Directions and a map can be found on our website www.northtexasgig.com. The regular support group meeting starts at 10 a.m., while the free Celiac 101 class for newly diagnosed starts at 9 a.m. Both end at noon. Guest speaker is Carol Fenster author of nine gluten-free cookbooks. She develops the gluten-free products for industry leader Bob's Red Mill and appears on PBS, the Health Network as well as many radio, newspaper, and web sites. She speaks nationally and internationally. Pre-register for the free 101 class by emailing education@northtexasgig.com.

The North Texas Gluten Intolerance Group will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at North Richland Hills Church of Christ, 6300 NE Loop 820, in N. Richland Hills. A Celiac 101 class for newly diagnosed starts at 9 a.m. Please pre-register for it by emailing education@northtexasgig.com. Guest speaker is Anna Sobaski, who is the owner of Breads from Anna, a line of gluten-free baking mixes. She is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health Chefs Training Program in NYC. As a celiac and type one diabetic, she lives with many of the same challenges as her customers. With her customers in mind, she only develops recipes and products that are healthy, and delicious. Directions and a map can be found at www.northtexasgig.com.
