Gardeners Club plans discussions

Gardeners' Club of Parker County meets the second Thursday of each month September through April at St. Francis Church, 117 Ranch House Road Willow Park. Meetings begin at 10 a.m. with a speaker, followed by refreshments and a short meeting. The public is invited. The April 9 meeting will be round-table discussions on vertical gardening, lasagna gardening and one hands-on project of making a greeting card with a flower theme. For more info call 817-919-6280.

Homer Babbit, well known gardener and former president of the Gardeners' Club of Parker County, Master Gardeners of Parker County and Texas Master Gardeners will be the speaker for the Gardeners' Club of Parker County Thursday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. Meetings are open to the public and take place at St. Francis Church, 117 Ranch House Road, Willow Park. Gardeners club resumes meetings

Gardeners Club of Parker County will hold its first meeting of the new season Thursday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Church, 117 Ranch House Road, Willow Park.
Barbara Shepard will present the program about crafts, blackboard flower pots and bead stringing, with the group taking part. The program will be followed with an "old fashioned" ice cream social and a short meeting.
