The 11th Annual Food Drive benefiting the Center of Hope of Parker County, hosted by Snow Garrett Williams Certified Public Accountants, will be held Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at WalMart, 1836 S. Main Street in Weatherford.
Cash donations are also accepted; make checks payable to the “Center of Hope.” Snow Garrett Williams will also be accepting donations at their location. For more information, contact their office at 817-596-9301 or via email at email@example.com.

The Boy Scouts of Troop 1099 in Aledo are partnering with the Center of Hope to collect food donations benefiting Parker County families through June 23.
The Center of Hope – East Parker County is in great need of food condiments to help serve families which visit the center in Aledo each week.
Please place food donations at Walmart in Hudson Oaks. The Scouts will collect the food donations and deliver them to the Center of Hope.
The following items are needed:
Salad dressing, mustard, salsa, peanut butter, salt & pepper, jelly (any), cooking oil or spray , mayonnaise, instant mashed potatoes, ketchup, macaroni & cheese, spices (any), canned tomatoes, and canned tomato paste.

Center of Hope, a ministry serving the needs of residents of Parker County and Aledo ISD, will hold a 10 Year Anniversary Celebration on Nov. 1. The dining event will share the history and success of the growth of Center of Hope programs and services. State Rep. Phil King will share a message and an opportunity to gain insight from the audience on how to better serve the community of Parker County. Tickets are available $50 per person. Two food drives have been scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 to benefit the Center of Hope. The third Annual Moss Insurance Group Community Food Drive will be held in front of Wal-Mart, located at 2801 Interstate 20 in Hudson Oaks.
The 10th Annual Snow Garrett Williams Community Food Drive will be held in front of Wal-Mart, located at 1836 S. Main St. in Weatherford.
The Center of Hope will share the donations with families residing in Parker County.
Specifically chosen food items will be pre-bagged and tagged for purchase at the point of check out making it easy for community shoppers to add their donation when they finished with their shopping. The bags will be dropped off with the volunteers stationed at the front of the store.

Snow Garrett Williams Certified Public Accountants will host the ninth annual food drive benefiting the Center of Hope of Parker County from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Walmart Supercenter in Weatherford, located at 1836 S. Main Street. The Ranch, 95.9 will broadcast from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cash donations are accepted. Please make checks payable to the “Center of Hope.”

The final event of the Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Center of Hope will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jerry Durant Auto Group – GMC dealership located at 3118 Fort Worth Hwy in Hudson Oaks. The Weatherford Police Department and local radio station QXFM (89.5) has joined with the Center of Hope for the 2011 “Get Up, Get Out, Get Active!” Drive benefitting Camp Hope to be held from 6-8 a.m. Friday, May 13 at the Weatherford Police Department.
For the past five years, Center of Hope has sponsored Camp Hope - a neighborhood summer feeding program for families who participate in free or reduced lunch programs during the school year. This year, not only are they teaching children simple ways how to fix themselves lunch, they are expanding Camp Hope curriculum to teach children cooking skills, Bible lessons, nutrition, exercise, safety, conflict resolution, personal hygiene and more.
