Parker County 4-H will be hosting the Parker County 4-H Adventure Camp July 14-15 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. This camp is open to youth ages 8-12 and will cost $30/camper to participate.
Campers will take part in fishing demonstrations, knot tying, wildlife ID, and hands on activities and crafts. Campers will test their abilities in the Animal Olympics by going toe to toe, wing to wing and hoof to hoof against wildlife found in Texas. They will learn new skills and safety practices that will be useful on camping and fishing trips, the impact of the footprints they leave in nature and how to explore their own backyards.

Jeff Lightfoot, of Weatherford College, will have a baseball camp for ages 13-18 this summer. This camp is an elite camp for all positions and will be in three sessions. Session I is from 8:30-10 a.m. Session II is from 10:15-11:45 a.m. Session III is from 12:30-2 p.m. Cost is $50 for one session, $90 for two sessions, and $125 for all three.
