Bishop not suited up

Aledo starting quarterback Matthew Bishop was not suited up for the game following a shoulder injury in the state semifinal game against Dennison. Senior quarterback Trey Ozee will run the offense for Aledo today.

Junior quarterback Clay Wooten was also taking snaps in pre-game warmups.

It is now 20 minutes to kickoff.

Excitement level growing

The excitement level is growing with the arrival of the band and the suited-up Bearcats taking the field for stretching and warmups. Lots of orange in the stands and lots of enthusiasm. At this point it appears Aledo fans outnumber Brenham about 3-2.
