KAT, a pop artist from Dallas, stopped by the Parker County Courthouse annex to pick out four pieces that will be on display at the Millan Gallery in Fort Worth next month.
Willow Park city employees won't be getting a pay raise this fiscal year and they shouldn't expect more money by the time the next one ends too.
Mayor Ken Hawkins said that with the projects the city has planned in the coming years and a possible population boom in three to five years, there's just not enough to increase the salaries of city workers.
However, he assures that as the private sector of the city grows and improves, the public sector will follow.

It's all over. Lynn Marie Johnson has won the runoff election over incumbent Melvin Simons for the Parker County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace position.
Johnson capped off the night with 757 votes. Simons ended the night with 456 votes.
