New Roadways Open

On Tuesday, April 12, the west bound IH-20 access road from Santa Fe/FM2552 to South Main/SH171/FM51 will open to through traffic. In conjunction, the newly constructed IH-20 entrance on-ramp between Santa Fe and South Main will also open. As a result, the existing on-ramp, just west of Santa Fe, will permanently close. Within the same area, the Holland Lake Drive connection to the IH-20 west bound access road from Washington Drive will also open to through traffic.

In addition, on Wednesday, April 13, the east bound to west bound South Main/SH171/FM51 U-turn Bridge will open. In conjunction with this opening, the new east bound 409 off-ramp to Santa Fe/FM 2552 will open, and the existing 409 exit ramp at Santa Fe will permanently close.

Aledo Head Football Coach Tim Buchanan was a member of a three-man panel during the "Legacy of Men" Awards Breakfast today (March 7). The panel, moderated by television personality Scott Murray, also included TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson and "Mr. Cowboy" Bob Lilly.

Guys and Dolls takes the stage this week

Performance times and dates are Friday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are: Adult $12, Students $10, Children $8. They can be purchased in the Theatre Room at the High School, or can be reserved by calling 817-441- 5139.
