PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council of the Town of Annetta North will conduct two public hearings on June 8, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Annetta Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, Farm Road 5 Annetta, Texas.
The hearings will be to consider a voluntary Petition Requesting Annexation of properties into the Town of Annetta North, Texas. The properties are located on (i) Jenkins Road, (ii) between Jenkins Road and Quail Ridge, and (iii) north and south of Underwood Road.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2003-1, AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ANNETTA NORTH, TEXAS, BY APPROVING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT ON CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF ANNETTA NORTH TO ALLOW THE OPERATION OF AN EQUESTRIAN ARENA AND BOARDING AND TRAINING FACILITY IN AN AGRICULTURAL (AG) ZONED DISTRICT AND FLOODPLAIN (FP) ZONED DISTRICT; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLASUE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLASUE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Due to snow and possible ice with near-freezing and freezing temperatures, which will make roads hazardous, Aledo ISD announced at 5:50 a.m. this morning (Thursday, Feb. 11) that all campuses will be closed for the day.

A public hearing will be held by the Annetta North Town Council on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Annetta United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, 2836 West F.M. 5 to consider the Specific Use Permit application filed by P.J. Cutters, L.L.C.  for approximately 23 acres out of the G.W. Fox Survey, Parker County, Texas, which property is also commonly known as 1701 West F.M. 5, Aledo, Texas 76008, to authorize the use of the property as an equestrian arena and boarding and training facility in an Agricultural (AG) Zoned District or Floodplain (FP) Zoned District .
