Rollover: An Aledo Volunteer Firefighter inspects the rollover accident along Kelly Road.
A female driver was taken away by ambulance following a single-car accident along Kelly Road in Aledo late Thursday morning.
According to the Parker County Sheriff's Department, no one saw the Oldsmobile rollover and a passerby called 911.
The Department of Public Safety is working the accident. How the accident occurred or the name of the victim has yet to be released.
Man apprehended following high-speed pursuit

Thomas Douglas Bennett, 52, of White Settlement, was arrested Friday, July 2 after burglarizing an Aledo residence in the 2200 block of FM 5. Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the suspect was apprehended in Fort Worth after a high-speed vehicle pursuit.
Bennett was spotted by the homeowner as he was leaving the residence. The victim reported that the had stolen a laptop computer, an Xbox, .20 gauge single shot shotgun, set of tools and women’s clothing.
Aledo and Willow Park Firefighters assisted Silver Creek and Azle firefighters in battling a house fire at 117 Rattling Antler in Silver Creek.
Homeowner James Sagers said his daughter, Jessica, was home at the time the fire started at about 4p.m.
Everyone got out safely. The fire is believed to have started from a lightning strike, but Sgt. Connie Good of the Parker County Fire Marshall's office said an investigation has to take place before that becomes official.
Citizens are encouraged to attend a town meeting at the Aledo Community Center tomorrow.
It will be held by the Aledo Economic Development Corporation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
According to Aledo City Administrator Ken Pfeifer, Freese and Nichols, Inc. representatives (the engineering company working on the project with the city) will be giving a presentation on the current strategic plan as well as collected information.
A portion of the meeting will also be dedicated to citizen input.

A late night fire in the 400 block of Pecan Drive in Aledo destroyed the home of Catherine Davis Tuesday night. The fire started some time after 10 p.m. Davis was not home at the time the fire began, and the cause has not been determined.
Aledo Shell station: The Aledo Shell station along south FM-1187.
Sources to The Community News today said that the bongs on sale at the Shell gas station along south FM-1187 have been removed.
The owner reportedly received several complaints and took the items off the shelves. The water pipes, also referred to as bongs, are used in smoking marijuana and were going for $25.

The man insured in Tuesday's accident along Old Annetta Road is 56-year-old Dusty Mayfield, Jr. of Aledo.
According to his wife, Christina Mayfield, he has broken and several cuts after his SUV crashed into large-piped fence.
Dusty Mayfield's condition was not available. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth after the accident.
