Aledo takes the ball first at the East end of Bearcat Stadium. 6 plays later, 3 runs each from Matt Bishop and Johnathan Gray, including a 5 yard touchdown run for Johnathan, Aledo scores first with less than 10 minutes left in the 1st quarter 7-0 Bearcats.

The Brewer Bears make a series of 1st downs before having to punt the ball back to Aledo. A nice punt pins the Bearcats deep in their own territory and a fumble on the second play of the drive results in a turnover.

Brewer gets the ball back deep in Aledo's end of the field. They tie it up at 7-7 with 4:45 left in the 1st quarter.

Caleb Frysinger returns the kickoff out to the Aledo 34 yard line where The Bearcats will start their possession.

A 3 play drive finishes with a 44 yard pass and run to Johnathan Gray from Matt Bishop, a Chance Nevarez PAT, and Aledo leads 14-7 with 3:30 left in the 1st quarter.

Aledo holds and will take over on their own 17 yard line after a Brewer punt. Unable to move the ball they punt the ball back to Brewer, who will set up shop at their own 47 yard line as the 1st quarter comes to a close.

The window painters will be lined up in the drop-off and pick-up area. Car window painting is free, but donations will be gladly accepted.

As part of the program, students are implementing the Friends of Rachel group on the campus, which will promote a positive change in the school’s climate on a more permanent basis. This group of students and staff will work with the entire population of the school and the community to promote values such as kindness, respect, and compassion.
