Several hundred tickets to Saturday's Aledo-Stephenville game are still available at the Bearcat Store, located in the Aledo ISD Adminsistration building on Bailey Ranch Road. Fans are encourages to purchase tickets locally ($8 for adults, $5 for students) in order to avoid long lines at the stadium in Midlothian.
All tickets at the gate will be $10.

The next stop for the Aledo Bearcats in their quest for a third straight state championship is Midland to face the Canyon Randall Raiders.
The game will be played at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at Grande Communications Stadium, located at 5514 Champions Drive.
Aledo will be the visiting team.
Tickets will be $8 for adults and $4 for students.

Aledo defeated Mansfield Summit 59-23 in the Area Championship game played at Burleson Elk Stadium on Friday, Nov. 18. The Bearcats will face the winner of the Canyon Randall-El Paso Riverside game on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The regional quarterfinal game is expected to be played on Friday, Nov 25. If Randall wins, it will likely be played in Sweetwater. If El Paso wins, it will be in Midland.

Behind Brann's pitching, a Ladycat softball team composed mainly of freshmen went three levels deep into the playoffs last season.

The Class AAAA Division II Area Playoff football game between the Aledo Bearcats and the Mansfield Summit Jaguars will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at Burleson Elks Stadium.

Canyon Randall defeated Aledo in five games in the regional volleyball semifinal in Abilene on Friday, Nov 11.
Aledo fell behind in the first game by 12 points, but gained ground later in the game, eventually losing the first game 14-25. The momentum from the end of the first game carried into the next two, which the Ladycats won 25-20 and 25-21.
They were unable to put Randall away, however, as Canyon won the last two games 17-25 and 9-15.

Aledo defeated Burleson 25-11, 25-23, 25-22 in the regional quarterfinal match at Haltom High School on Tuesday, Nov 8.
The Ladycats will play old Nemesis Canyon Randall at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov 11 at Kimbrell Arena at McMurry University in Abilene as the first round of the Regional Tournament.

The Aledo Bearcat Regiment placed 13th in the UIL State Marching Band competition on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in San Antonio. Aledo was the 24th 4A band to march in the 4A preliminaries. Following their performance, the Baylor University band performed while judges deliberated.
The band received an outpouring of support from community supporters who made the trip to San Antonio.

The Aledo Bearcat Regiment will be the final band competing at the UIL State Band Competition at the San Antonio Alamodome on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The band will march at 4 p.m.
Following the preliminary competition and an exhibition by the Baylor University marching band, the finalists will be announced, and 4A final competition will be at 7 p.m.
