NBC 5 will present the Aledo Bearcat football team with the NBC 5 Inside High School Football Team of the Year Award during half time of the boys varsity basketball game Friday, Feb. 3.
Go support the Ladycat and Bearcat basketball teams as they take on Boswell at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m, then celebrate with the football team as they receive the Team of the Year Award.
The Aledo Bearcats soccer team will play against Granbury in the finals of the Moritz Tournament of Champions today (Saturday) at 6 p.m. In Bearcat Stadium.

The Aledo Bearcats defeated Burleson Centennial 67-61 to earn a spot in the finals of the Moritz Holiday Classic at Aledo on Wednesday afternoon. The 'Cats will play Brewer for the championship at 6:30 p.m.

Two time changes have been announced for the Moritz Holiday Classic basketball tournament in Aledo.
The third-place game will be played at 4:30 p.m. and the championship game will be at 6 p.m.

The Aledo Ladycats defeated Keller Timber Creek 57-39 Tuesday night on the road. Timber Creek was picked to win district, but the Ladycats didn't seem fazed by the pick. The Bearcats lost their district opener 64-51.

The Aledo Bearcats defeated the Manvel Mavericks 49-28 to capture their third consecutive 4A Division II State Championship at Cowboys Stadium in Saturday.
Jaylen Hill was named Defensive MVP, and quarterback Matt Bishop received Offensive Player of the Game honors.

The Aledo Athletic Booster Club will have a sendoff for the Bearcats as they leave Aledo for Cowboys Stadium on Saturday morning.
Bearcat fans are asked to line Bailey Ranch Road and FM 1187 (as safety permits) from Bailey Ranch to FM 1187 to cheer for the team as it leaves Aledo High School about 8:30 a.m.
