Trimble Tech post Anna McDowell hit a free throw with 15 seconds left which proved to be the game-winning  point as the Lady Bulldogs defeated the Aledo Ladycats, 48-47, Friday night in a girls' area championship basketball game at Burleson Centennial High School.

The loss leaves the Ladycats with an overall record of 29-5. Tech will advance to the regional quarterfinals against Colleyville Heritage.
