Billy Wayne Jones, 66, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Billy was born on November 11, 1951 in Athens, Alabama. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Billy enjoyed building birdhouses. His safe haven away from home was his shop. Billy was a loving, caring man who never met a stranger. He was also a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Jane Jones; children, Jason Jones, Doug Jones, Mark Ogburn, and Mickie Anderson; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Lora Gatlin and Amanda Archer; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in White's Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Aledo-Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Feb. 21 at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
