Running a time of 2:14.6, Aledo freshman Gracie Morris won the girls' 800-meter run by slightly more than a full second Friday night at the Class 5A State Track and Field Meet at Mike Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin.
Later Friday night, Morris also earned a silver medal in the girls' 1,600-meter run, finishing second with a time of 4:55.75.
Aledo collected a third medal on Friday night as senior Harrison Tillman finished third for a bronze medal in the boys' 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:17.87.
Aledo earned a total of four medals at the 5A state meet. On Thursday, Graydon Morris - Gracie's twin brother - won a silver medal for a second-place finish in the boys' 3,200-meter run.
