After advancing in their respective playoff rounds, playoff series' have been announced for the Aledo Bearcats baseball and Aledo Ladycats softball teams.
The Bearcats will face defending state-champion Grapevine in a best-of-three regional quarterfinals series that begins Thursday.
All games will be played at Brewer High School.
Game one will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, with game two set for 7:30 p.m. Friday. If a third game is necessary it is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Ladycats will play a one-game regional semifinal against El Paso Chapin, the District 1-5A champion.
The one-game playoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday at the softball field at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa.
