Faced with a winner-take-all, one-game regional semifinal, the Aledo Ladycats softball team will face El Paso Chapin today at Odessa.
The game will start at 6:30 p.m. today at the softball field at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa.

The winner will face the winner of the defending state champion Birdville/Canyon series. Canyon has a 1-0 lead in games in the best-of-three regional semifinal series after a 3-0 win last night.
The Aledo Bearcats baseball team fell 2-0 to defending state champion Grapevine last night and will resume the best-of-three regional quarterfinals series today. Game two is set for 7:30 p.m. today at Brewer High School.
Should the Bearcats win, a third and deciding game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brewer.
The winner of the series will advance to the regional semifinals and face the winner of the Lubbock Coronado/Amarillo High School regional quarterfinal series.
