Due to the probability of rain Saturday, Dec. 3, the City of Aledo has made some changes to the plan for its annual Christmas Tyme in Aledo festival.
The ice skating rink has been moved indoors to the Aledo Community Center. Santa's workshop will be in the back room of the Community Center again this year.
Some of the outdoor activities such as the horse-drawn carriage have been cancelled, but the vendor booths and outdoor entertainment are still planned as scheduled, weather permitting.
The craft fair will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. in the Church at the Crossing Gymnasium, and the downtown area business will still keep special holiday hours and offers.
Mayor Kit Marshall welcomes Santa to the Community Center at 6 p.m. for the tree lighting, weather permitting.
