Process underway to name bridge after Hunter Corzine

Posted

The Parker County Commissioners Court approved a resolution Monday morning to begin the application process for naming the bridge at I-20 and FM 1187 after former Aledo ISD student Hunter Corzine.

Corzine, along with his grandfather, former Aledo ISD Superintendent Don Daniel, was killed in 2015 in a traffic accident near the bridge.

Approval of the resolution by the county clears the way for the request to proceed through TxDOT, according to Parker County Public Information Officer Joel Kertok.
