Both the Aledo Ladycats and Bearcats basketball teams were defeated in non-district games played tonight at the Aledo High School gym.
The Ladycats drop to 1-2 after falling to Class 4A state-ranked No. 5 Godley, 46-22.
Riley Sale, Abby Losos and Sarah Haeussler each scored four points to lead the Ladycats, with Haeussler also pulling down a team-high eight rebounds.
The Bearcats (0-1) fell to Granbury, 50-41, in the season opener for both teams.
Bryce Lancarte led the Bearcats with 14 points, with Cam Caldwell adding 11. Caldwell led Aledo on the boards with nine rebounds.
