Luka Loviscek took home a second place prize at the State Fair of Texas for a sculpture he created during Summer Art Camp at Aledo High School. It's an abstract made from wood, wire and pantyhose that is painted red and blue with a T for Texas Rangers. Luka also has another second place ribbon for a ceramics piece currently on exhibit at the fair that he made previously. He is a 2015 State Fair winner as well.

"Congratulations to Luka. I'm so happy to hear about his piece winning at the State Fair," said Aledo High School art teacher Gloria Andrews, who leads the annual art camp where the piece was created. "This is a huge win and I'm so excited for him!"

Luka is in Mrs. Mooney's second grade class at Stuard Elementary.
