Three men transported to hospital after plane goes down in Parker County

At approximately 9 a. m. on July 19, 2016, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers were notified of a downed aircraft on Tackett Lane, south of the Parker County Airport, off of Bankhead Highway.

There were three occupants on board at the time of the incident.   All three, males ages 51, 49, and 25, were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with undisclosed injuries.

The aircraft is a 1966 Cesna Model 182J, fixed wing, single engine.  The Federal Aviation Administration has an investigator en route to the scene to conduct an investigation.  DPS troopers will remain at the location to secure the scene.
