Silver alert issued for Azle man

Posted

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office has issued a silver alert.

“We are seeking the location of a 77-year-old male who went missing sometime around midnight,” said Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler. “There are some concerns which are heightened due to his medical issues and history of dementia and Alzheimer’s.”

The missing male is identified as Loyad Frederick Scott, of Azle.

Sheriff’s investigators say Scott’s wife awoke shortly before midnight at their residence in the 1900 block of Reynolds Drive in Azle. Mrs. Scott observed her husband was not in the house and the keys to their vehicle were also missing. Sheriff’s investigators do not suspect foul play is related to Scott’s disappearance at this time.

The vehicle Scott is believed to be driving is a 2014 silver Subaru Forester, Texas License Plate # CMP 3067.

Scott is described as 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with silver hair and blue eyes.

Scott was last known to be wearing a white T-shirt, tan pants, brown shoes and a Lockheed Martin baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Parker County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (817) 594-8845.
