Goings likes numbers at Ladycats Volleyball Camp

For the 21st consecutive year, Aledo Ladycats head coach Kathy Goings is hosting her annual Ladycats Volleyball Camp at the Don Daniel Ninth Grade Campus gym.

This week marks the second of two summer camps Goings has hosted, the other being in June.

Goings said she likes the number of participants at both camps which combined numbered close to 200 participants.

The camps ends Thursday.

The Aledo Ladycats volleyball team will begin two-a-day workouts on Aug. 1. As always, August practices will begin with the required mile run famously dubbed, 'The Goings Mile' at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1 at Bearcat Stadium.
