A single vehicle accident along the north service road of I-20 at FM 1187 tied up traffic briefly Monday morning while agencies worked the scene.
Responders from Aledo ISD Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Aledo Fire Department all provided assistance after the crash.
Aledo ISD Chief of Police Fred Collie said the female driver, whose name has not been released, spun out on the road and rolled the vehicle.
“We believe speed and the weather were both factors,” Collie said.
The driver is “doing fine” according to Collie and refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
