Parker County cleans up after another spring storm

Residents of east Parker County are cleaning up today after another round of storms blew through the area overnight.

The worst of the damage seems to be from a line that passed over the area around 4 a.m., blowing down fences, awnings and hailing on some residents.

"We were out here early this morning getting started," said Cheyenne Prill, who works at the law office of Scott, Burney and Associates on Bankhead Hwy. "There's a lot of different places on the building that are damaged."

Andrew W. Jones, who runs local service company Just-a-Jones, was out surveying damages and helping residents with repairs this morning.

"My phone has been ringing off the hook," he said. "I'm seeing all kinds of things torn up."
