PC Chamber announces annual leadership awards

Gloria Gilbert Barron of First Bank Texas received the Athena International Leadership Award when the Parker County Chamber of Commerce (formerly East Parker County Chamber of Commerce) held its annual awards gala on April 11.

Other award winners were: Debbie Dunn of BeyondFaith Hospice (Businessperson of the Year), Mark Lusk, Pure Funding Mortgage (Pappy Thompson Public Service Award), Children's Advocacy Center of Parker County (Nonprofit of the Year), Ross Pest & Lawn (Business of the Year with 1-10 employees), Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (Business of the Year with 11-20 employees), Tri-County Electric Cooperative (Business of the Year with 51-plus employees), Rachael and Bret Watson, Major Perk (Entrepreneur of the Year), and Karina Pappas, C&K Designs (Ambassador of the Year).
